Introduction and Rationale for Clinical Trial
Major Depression Disorder (MDD) is a leading contributor to the global burden of disease affecting millions of adults.
While medications for MDD exist, many patients don't experience adequate relief.
We are recruiting participants for a phase 3, randomized, and double-blind trial to assess the efficacy and safety of CYB003 (psilocybin analog) in adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
This research seeks to continue exploring the therapeutic value of this type of treatment.
We are currently accepting new participants who are taking a stable dose of a single antidepressant.
Participants must have a major depressive disorder diagnosis and cannot be diagnosed with schizophrenia or be experiencing uncontrolled hypertension.
