STELLATE GANGLION BLOCK, DUAL SYMPATHETIC RESET
SGB Treatment
Some individuals experience being stuck in a fight-or-flight response, and this state leads to an overactive nervous system. Stella's own advanced Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) protocol, the Dual Sympathetic Reset (DSR), consists of two SGB injections of local anesthetic on the side of the neck, next to sympathetic nerves regulating the fight-or-flight response. Similar to turning on and off a computer, patients who receive this treatment can gain control of their body again by resetting their nervous system to help restore normal biological function.
Our Impact Report is Live
Stella Mental Health proudly presents annual patient outcome data that clearly illustrates the effectiveness of our advanced treatments, from traditional methods to the latest evidence-based interventions. Treatments at Stella include the dual sympathetic reset (DSR) an advanced stellate ganglion blocks (SGB), ketamine therapy, Spravato (esketamine), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), outpatient therapy, psychiatric services, or multi-modality, which is a combination of treatment options.

Depression and Suicidal Ideation Treatment
While traditional methods such as talk therapy and medication management work for some, many may require interventional options to help relieve their symptoms. At Stella, these treatments, including ketamine therapy, SPRAVATO® (esketamine), TMS, and DSR SGB, have proven to dramatically outperform traditional methods.
Of those who were experiencing mild to severe depression symptoms, see our treatment outcomes showing patients who reported significant improvement or full remission of their symptoms.

Understanding Trauma Experiences
Trauma is a universal truth, and experiencing trauma can quietly reshape how someone feels, thinks, and moves through the world, long after the incident has passed. For many, the hardest part isn't just the symptoms, but feeling unseen or misunderstood while trying to get help. That's why our comprehensive, interventional psychiatry approach matters. By putting patients first and prioritizing emotional safety and respect, care becomes more than just symptom management. It evolves into a collaborative process built on trust. Everyone's experience is different, and effective treatment plans reflect uniqueness, combining personalized care with evidence-based methods to meet individuals where they are, not where they're expected to be.
Today's mental health care is also evolving. Advances in clinical research and innovative treatment options are expanding what's possible for people who haven't found relief through traditional approaches alone. By integrating established therapies with newer, scientifically grounded interventions, care can be both deeply personalized and forward-thinking. This balance—between compassion and clinical rigor—allows providers to treat trauma not just as a diagnosis, but as a lived experience deserving of thoughtful, adaptive, and effective care.

Reality of Symptom Prevalence
Moderate to severe symptoms of mental health conditions, especially anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD/PTSI, are far more common than many realize. While often internalized or minimized, these symptoms affect a significant portion of the world, cutting across age, background, and lifestyles. What may appear "manageable" on the surface can, in reality, involve persistent distress, disrupted functioning, and a reduced quality of life. One of the reasons why mental health conditions are so often unrecognized is the gap between how people present and what they're actually experiencing.
It's important to recognize how widespread and impactful symptoms are to help change how mental health care is approached. When moderate to severe challenges are acknowledged and addressed with evidence-based methods, outcomes can improve significantly. While many find relief in traditional methods, some search for help for hard-to-treat or treatment-resistant conditions. Someone needing more advanced or specialized care is not uncommon or a sign of failure, but reflects an essential truth to the complexity and reality of mental health care.
That's why the team at Stella provides a transformative experience through an approach that's patient-first, trauma-informed, personalized, and focused on emotional safety and respect. By offering innovative, evidence-based methods and treatment options, our scientifically, clinically advanced protocols clearly illustrate their effectiveness through our positive patient outcomes.
