Jonathan Maravelias, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to expanding access to compassionate, evidence-based mental health care through innovative and interventional treatments. Jonathan's clinical perspective has been shaped by years of experience working in the ED, where he developed expertise in trauma-informed care, crisis stabilization, and supporting individuals navigating severe and complex mental health challenges. Getting To Know Jonathan
Jonathan completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Rush University College of Nursing, where his doctoral research examined ketamine's role in reducing depression and suicidal ideation. His work reflects a strong belief that emerging therapies can meaningfully transform outcomes for individuals who have not found relief through traditional approaches alone—when administered ethically, collaboratively, and within a trauma-informed framework. He also holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University and a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Anthropology from Eastern Michigan University.
